Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a common type of bacteria that can live in the stomach lining. While many people don’t have symptoms, it can sometimes lead to irritation, ulcers, and other digestive issues.

Approximately 30-40% of the people in the United States have an H. pylori stomach infection.1 In most cases, this infection doesn’t become a problem. However, if you suffer from indigestion that is persistent or keeps coming back, testing can help provide insight as to if H. pylori could be causing the issue. The PyloPlus® Urea Breath Test (UBT) is a noninvasive test that uses your breath to detect H. pylori and help your healthcare provider monitor treatment.

No doctor’s visit needed. Buy this H. pylori breath test, visit a nearby Quest location, and get fast results.

Please see the "Preparing for your sample collection" section for important information to consider prior to testing.
