Then, you can talk with your doctor about what changes to make to your diet or what supplements to take.
It’s important to get tested for any deficiencies before starting on a high-protein diet. This is to identify if you are already deficient in any of these nutrients, as you could become more deficient and further impair your health when you eliminate certain foods from your diet.
