About the Test
The Weed and Grass Respiratory Allery Test Panel measures immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies produced in the blood in response to specific weed and grass allergens. This panel measures immune responses to Russian thistle, giant ragweed, nettle, rough marsh elder, sheep sorrel weed, mugwort, common ragweed, bermuda grass, rough pigweed, Timothy grass, Johnson grass, perennial rye grass, and bahia grass.

This test reports the presence of lgE antibodies to weed and grass allergens, but the result by itself cannot confirm the diagnosis of an allergy. It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider. They will review your results along with your medical history, signs and symptoms, medications, and any other test results.
