FAQs: Purchasing a Test
You can find an explanation of the tests on questhealth.com, but if you're not sure which lab test to choose, please consult your doctor.
Lab tests are not currently available in Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Note: In Arizona, Sonora Quest Laboratories offers testing that you can purchase through My Lab ReQuest™. Visit www.MyLabReQuest.com to learn more.
No. Lab test results cannot be prioritized or expedited.
Click "Shop" on the top navigation bar of questhealth.com to browse, and select tests to add to your cart. If you haven't already done so, you will need to create a Quest account to proceed to checkout.
Make sure you have typed in the promo code correctly, that the code hasn't expired, and that the promo code is valid for the product(s) that you are purchasing. Please see the information provided with your promo code and/or Special Offer Terms at the bottom of this website for specific eligibility details.

While you can't purchase most lab tests on questhealth.com for someone else, you can send questhealth.com eGift cards to someone you know. Additionally, you can purchase at-home test kits and have us ship them to someone else's address.
No. All tests are intended for users 18 years and older.
You will be asked to answer relevant medical questions for select tests. This will help to confirm that the test you’ve selected is right for you.
For tests requiring in-person sample collection, your purchase can't include more than one of the same test. You may live in a state where our tests are not available. Additionally, some tests are not available to people of a specific sex or age. Some tests may not be eligible to combine with other tests. Lastly, some tests may be purchased only once per customer in their lifetime. Examples are but not limited to the Lipoprotein(a)/Lp(a) Test and High-Risk Heart Health Lipid and Lp(a) Panel.
You may be able to purchase multiple home collection kits for some tests during a single purchase. Review the product page to see if you can purchase several home collection kits during a single purchase. For tests that require a in-person sample collection you cannot purchase more than one of the same tests in a single purchase.
An acknowledgement page will appear after you complete your checkout. Once your purchase is processed, you will get a purchase confirmation email from Quest, sent to the email address you used to register your account. You will also see your lab test(s) listed on your Orders page in your Account.
If you purchase a single test and a panel of tests, or two panels at the same time, some test components may overlap. In either case, we automatically deduct the cost of the overlapped component from your cart, so you only get charged once for the same test component.
For example, if you add a Basic Health Profile and a Cholesterol Panel to your cart, the price of the Cholesterol Panel will be deducted at checkout because the Cholesterol Panel is already part of the Basic Health Profile.
Some tests on our site only need to be measured once and do not usually change over time.

No. Quest Consumer uses information received from Quest Diagnostics to keep you informed about the testing you purchase or the home collection kit you activate on the Quest Consumer website (questhealth.com). If you do not wish to provide the HIPAA Authorization, you will not be able to make a purchase or activate a home collection kit on questhealth.com, but you can still get laboratory testing services from Quest Diagnostics through your personal physician.
If you are looking for lab results for testing previously purchased from QuestDirect® or questhealth.com and do not wish to sign the HIPAA Authorization, you can access them through your MyQuest® account or by contacting Quest Diagnostics for a copy (which can be received by mail, email, or fax).
