About the Test
Quest offers the InSure® ONE™ FIT home collection kit, which detects if there is any hidden blood in your stool. The presence of blood may be a sign of lower gastrointestinal disorders, like colon cancer, that should be treated. Colorectal diseases, such as polyps and colitis, may leak small amounts of blood into the intestine. The sample is collected at home and shipped back to a Quest Diagnostics laboratory for testing and resulting.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends that adults aged 45 to 75 be screened annually for colorectal cancer.1
